Review As a first time home buyer, I lucked out having Cody Dickens, The Intracoastal Broker guide me throughout my process. From our very first conversation he put me at ease. I knew I was in capable hands. He listens, is attentive and accessible. He understood needs I didn’t even know I had. He patient and understanding of my process which was several months long as I was waiting for some financial aspects to fall into place. I was also relocating to a brand new town that I knew nothing about. Cody took the time to show me homes and the surrounding area too. He not only sells homes but also the coastal lifestyle about which he is passionate and knowledgeable. Initially I approached Cody as a Loan Officer but quickly decided to use him as my Realtor as well. The moment I knew I was dealing with a man of integrity was when he was able to find me the best rate even if it wasn’t with him. Cody went above and beyond on closing/moving day helping me with logistics beyond his scope of responsibilities as my Realtor. Cody was great to work with! We were moving into an area we knew nothing about. I was impressed with Cody’s professionalism and knowledge of the area. He provided great detail to help us pick the right home for us. He was up to date on development in the area that would impact our future home value. He is also an excellent handyman and was able to give us an idea of structural and cosmetic issues that would need to be addressed. Most importantly, he has experience with foundations and roofs. Two very expensive qualities of a home. This was extremely valuable considering Hurricane Florence still left a heavy footprint on many homes in the area. Because of his guidance, I did not have to worry about anything major on the inspection report. This was a great relief as we had a lot of other things going on. I could rely heavily on Cody and he was patient with me getting things together needed for closing. He provided us options for closing that was the most convenient and time saving for us. I would recommend Cody’s services to everyone in my circle and even those of you I do not know. You will not regret it.
